How to Install Custom Firmware DD-WRT on TP-Link 701ND V2 from Factory Firmware

I will show you how to Install Custom Firmware DD-WRT on TP-Link 701ND V2 from Factory Firmware. TP-Link 701ND is not supported by DD-WRT, but 701ND have same Processor with MR3020. So, it's possible to install DD-WRT on 701ND V2. Let's see how to do IT.

First, download Custom Firmware DD-WRT for MR3020, why MR3020? Because, 701ND V2 have same Processor with MR3020. Check and Download this Link ---> (Download DD-WRT).

Before flashing, please RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULT , after that, set your IP Address to 192.168.0.55 and 192.168.1.55. Why double IP Address? Because, Default network configuration of Factory TP-Link 701ND V2 is 192.168.0.0/24 and DD-WRT is 192.168.1.0/24. It's different, so... You must set your IP double, like image bellow.

As you see, my ip address is 192.168.0.55 and 192.168.1.55. Because, after flashing to DD-WRT your 701ND V2 network changed to 192.168.1.0/24. Ok, let's GO!

Login to Administrator Web page 701ND V2. http://192.168.0.254 with username admin and password admin. And show this page.

Go to System Tools -> Firmware Upgrade. Select DD-WRT Firmware and click UPGRADE.

PLEASE WAIT AND DON'T DO ANYTHING

UNTILL YOUR 701ND BOOTING UP WITH DD-WRT

After Booting UP. Check http://192.168.1.1 on your Browser. It's must show this page. If not, try check http://192.168.0.254 again.

FINISHED and SUCCESS!
